This Latter Day Saints website has thousands (millions?) of searchable records of all countries. Be careful, though, not all of them are verified.

The Manitoba Mennonite Historical Society Pages

SmileA gold mine of information for those interested in Mennonite genealogy---really worth checking out, again and again, as they post new information frequently.

Canadian Census Records

Searchable Canadian Census records for the years 1901, 1906, 1911 and the 1851 Census records for Nova Scotia. Some area complete, others still in the process of transcription. Great site. Update: 1916 Canadian Census for the Prairie Provinces is now availabe on microfilm.

Manitoba Vital Events

Searchable database for births of more than 100 years ago, deaths of more than 70 years ago and marriages of more than 80 years ago in the Province of Manitoba, Canada.

BC Archives

Searchable data base for births to 1903 and marriages over 75 years ago in BC. Death registration need only be 20 years old.

Saskatchewan Vital Events

Saskatchewan is coming along, transcribing vital events records for internet search. They have on-line searches for births of more than a hundred years ago and are working on death records to 70 years ago. Currently deaths prior to 1917 with updates as they become available. no marriages as of yet. Oh, the cost of a document! $50.00! Compare with Manitoba at $12.00 and BC is almost free as the the records are on microflim and available through interlibrary loan, print-outs 25 cents.

Canadian Archives

A variety of searchable data bases ie, homestead papers, pioneer marriages, and soldiers of the First World War. Check it out.

Wikipedia

Informaion, information galore, and if you don't think the info is correct, you can edit it. You can also add information on a subject that isn't in Wikipedia yet...........
